Second lti Golf Open
Two evening events in rural cabins provided the frame for the second lti Golf Open this year.
The two managing directors of DER Touristik Hotels, Christian Grage (CEO) and Rolf Krahl (CFO), welcomed the guests in the Rockbar. The rustic cabin is directly located next to the lti alpenhotel Kaiserfels. The first highlight, called ‘the shoot-out’, took place on the lawn in front of the hotel, which is occupied by skiers in the wintertime. In this competition one must hit a golf ball along the mountain into a marked circle. The winning prize was a voucher for 4 nights at the newly opened 5-star hotel Meliá Hacienda del Conde & Buenavista Golf in Tenerife by the partner Meliá Hotels. The Partner Condor also ensured happy faces: On both evenings, the airline awarded flight vouchers to Malaga.
On the next day, the golf tournament took place on the golf course Eichenheim in the neighbouring town of Kitzbühel, only about 30 minutes away from the lti hotel. Four players would play together and earn a team score. Each team was provided with professional support with one Bundesliga player of the Golfclub Hösel team assigned to each flight.
The following evening event included a victory ceremony and stood all under the banner of the sponsor Fly Niki. The airline was hosting the event on the Brenner-Alm, a lodge situated at an altitude of 1,250 meters featuring a spectacular view of the Wilder Kaiser Mountains. The winning team was delighted to receive a voucher for a one-week stay in an lti hotel in Majorca, Crete or Rhodes.
