DER Touristik Hotels – Global Partner Meeting
The hotel partners were welcomed at a kick-off evening event. On the next day, January 11th, everything was about information. In his welcome address, Sören Hartmann, CEO of DER Touristik Group, outlined the company's international importance and stressed the significance of a tight network in these turbulent times.
Rolf-Dieter Maltzahn, Managing Director of DER Touristik Germany, and Jan Frankenberg, Division Manager of the brands ITS and Jahn Reisen, addressed the goals of the tour operators as well as challenges from increasing competition, demographic change and geopolitical influences.
Nevertheless, most information to the hotel partners was provided by DER Touristik Hotels. After their welcome by the two managing directors Christian Grage (CEO) and Rolf Krahl (CFO), the hoteliers learned about planned innovations in the areas of food & beverage and entertainment, followed by discourses on quality and sales & marketing.
After a successful evening event that took place on a ship on the Rhine, a global partners fair took place on the last day. Many providers presented their hotel-related products and supplies. Besides offering their commodities and latest advances in the field, they took the opportunity for intensive, personal discussions with owners and hotel directors. Here again, many business partnerships could be developed or strengthened.
