Who we are
The headquarters of DERTOUR Hotels & Resorts is located in Cologne. Under the direction of the managing director Christian Grage (CEO), Karl Pojer (CEO Hotel Division), Dieter Zümpel (CFO Hotel Division) and Max-Peter Droll (CFO), 30 employees work in five different areas.

Karl Pojer
In the Group Hotel Division, headed by Karl Pojer, In his role as CEO of the Hotel Division and DSR Hospitality, Karl Pojer is primarily responsible for strategy. With an impressive career in the international hotel and cruise industry, including as CEO of Robinson Clubs and Divisional Director of TUI Hotels & Resorts, Karl J. Pojer brings extensive expertise to the role.
Dieter Zümpel
Chief Sales Officer
The experienced tourism manager Dieter Zümpel is Chief Sales Officer for the DERTOUR Hotel Division. Dieter Zümpel can look back on 28 years of professional experience in the tourism industry and successfully managed DER Touristik Suisse (formerly Kuoni) as CEO from 2016 to 2023. In this position, he was responsible for the integration into the DER Touristik Group, achieved a market-leading position in the Swiss market and built up a strong tour operator and sales team.
Christian Grage
Managing Director DERTOUR Hotels & Resorts
Hospitality veteran with global operating & corporate leadership experience in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia with Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Corinthia Hotels and Hilton Worldwide. Key strength in the management & development of multi-unit Hotel / Resort operations, revenue optimization and the execution of commercial & marketing strategies. Well experienced in all international business segments and markets. Provided best return on investments and profitability to Owners and operators alike with focus on improved asset value and image growth. Business exposure with Management, Rent, Franchise, private Owner and Joint Venture appointments.
Max-Peter Droll
Chief Finance Officer
Max-Peter Droll began his career in tourism at TUI in 1995. This was followed by several management positions, including Director of Sales at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Managing Director at the ROBINSON and Aldiana hotel brands and Managing Director of QR Quality Reservations. As Chief Financial Officer at DER Touristik Hotels & Resorts, he now brings his years of professional experience and expertise in finance and hotel development to the table.sol.
Angela Rittig
Head of Sales & Marketing
The "Rheinländerin" has an international background and brings with her many topics from the business development sector with a focus on sales and revenue experience.
She has held positions at Hilton Berlin, Hilton Mainz & Mainz City and as Director of Operation at Hilton Durban, South Africa, and returned to Europe in 2009 as Regional Director of Revenue for Vienna Hotels in Prague. From 2013 she worked for Dolce Bad Nauheim as Director of Business Development until 2017; 2018-2020 she moved to Vienna to Grand Hotel Wien, a Leading Hotel of the World. Before joining DTHR, she worked as EAM at Romantik Hotel Klostergut Jakobsberg in Boppard, Germany, where she was responsible for Commercial and Rooms and the conversion of all revenue-relevant systems at the beginning of 2021.
