Opening of the new cable car station at lti alpenhotel Kaiserfels
The region St. Johann in Tyrol is one of the most beloved holiday destinations in Austria. In order to satisfy the demand and request of the holidaymakers for a modern ski region, a plan has been set up a couple of years ago for a new cable car station at Eichenhof. Following an intensive planning and project preparation phasis the start of the construction of this new cable car at Eichenhof St. Johann in Tyrol was now officially approved.
The construction of the new cable car started on June 19th, 2017. The new cable car, a 10-seat monocable, will take skiers from the Eichhof lift station to Grander-Schupf offering the most modern comfort. In addition to the cost of this project, around 17 Mio. EUR has been invested this year in the development of the ski region, which will benefit the guests.
Now, after 6 month of construction, the new cable car will start to operate.
